Our Finished Mural

Our bottle cap mural is finally complete! Over 1,200 caps make up this rendition of Picasso's The Dreamer. Thanks to all of the children who helped create it. Oh, and we're still collecting.

It is SUPER COOL!!!!!!! I am getting ready to do a 3 sided 2ft by 7ft bottle cap mural. The kids are bringing in their design ideas today..and I'll get them put on to the boards this week...and hopefully we'll start gluing bottle caps by the end of the week beginning of next week!

Our mural is 4 x 5 feet. I thought it was a good size for our first attempt, having never done one before. Next time I want to use the entire 4 x 8 foot sheet of plywood! Thanks for all of the feedback.

What did you use to attach the caps? Is it screws? Looks fantastic!

18Great use of resources. Were you ever in Girl Scouts? If so you should promote yourself to the local Girl Scout Council. They'd be crazy to not to love your work.
This craft could also be taught to inspiring young women artists.
